The former barracks site is situated in Duisburg-Wanheim, south of the city centre. GEBAG - Duisburger Gemeinnützige Baugesellschaft AG acquired the area of land and prepared a concept for its use together with the urban planning department and GFW Duisburg.

The demolition of the existing buildings as well as preparation for building and development has been finished.

Marketing of the approximately six hectare large part of the overall area of land intended for use for business purposes has already started.
