The close co-operation with Duisburg-Essen University, the Fraunhofer Institute for microelectronic circuitry and systems and other research institutes creates the best conditions for the presence of high-tech companies. The high-class architecture enhances the attractiveness of the user park.
The park situated close to the city centre was constructed according to the plans of the architects' office of Lord Norman Foster, London. It consists of several system modules: the Tec-Base, the Tec-Tower as well as the Tec-Center completed in 1997.
