Trade fairs in Germany

Germany is the country of international trade fairs. On average 140 events a year are organised with world-wide impact. Nearly 10 million visitors, a fifth of which were from abroad, were welcomed by German organisers of trade fairs in 2002. In the case of the exhibitors the ration of domestic to foreign exhibitors is even more remarkable. Of the 165,000 exhibitors in 2002 almost half were from foreign countries.

Duisburg presents itself at the Real Estate Exhibition "Expo Real" in Munich, Germany, and at the MIPIM in Cannes, France
As you see, the trade fairs in the Federal Republic of Germany are not only a display window for the German economy. Moreover, from Duisburg you secure the opportunity to advertise your products and services throughout Europe, if not even world-wide and to establish contacts there.

To be emphasised are, for example, ANUGA (Cologne) in the food sector, CEBIT (Hanover) in information and communications technology as well as DRUPA (Düsseldorf) for the printing industry. In Duisburg the "Logistics Forum Duisburg" has become established as a meeting point for the European decision-makers in logistics over the last three years. The range is complemented by countless regional specialist trade fairs or special shows.
